Dr. Rogers’ Bio
Earl D. (Bud) Rogers, D.M.D.
Dr. Earl Rogers obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University, where he graduated with honors. While attending Auburn, he served as vice president and president of the School of Engineering and received the honored distinction of being selected as Outstanding Engineering Graduate in the fall quarter of 1978. He also received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, an award given to one senior male and one senior female engineering student. He is a life member of the Auburn Alumni Association.
Dr. Rogers obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama in 1983. He is a graduate of the Pankey Institute and The Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education.
Throughout his career in dentistry, Dr. Rogers has received awards from the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists and the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Rogers is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. To stay abreast of the latest advancements in the dental field, he maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, the Mobile Area Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In the past, Dr. Rogers served as president of the Mobile Area Dental Society, the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Alumni Association. He currently serves on the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Dean’s Advisory Board.
Dr. Rogers is an active member of Church of The Highlands. He served on the Board of Trustees at St. Paul’s Episcopal School.
He and his wife, Lisa, have two children: Grant and Anna, and three grandchildren: Brooks, Harrison, and Ann Sibley.
